if I may, just 2 little things you could consider to enhance:
Add on cube bits more res to avoid distort on images
On the main cube "home", you should use a seamless texture, probably prebakked 
with a nice light, in same lighting style as your nav cube.
you could as well may be add a projected shadow beneath exploded cube... 
SimpleShadow with high blur would cost 3 lines of code to see...

but hey, who the hell am I to tell you what to do!! Just see these as personal 
constructive inputs.
