Thanks!  The sphere particle effect doesn't look as good as I'd like.
but its a start.  Flint starts to hit performance hard when you get
the particle count too high with 3d particles.  I would have liked to
have may more smaller particles to give a smoother transition to the
animated sphere.  I think in the future I may pre-render it or just
use 2d particles to get a nicer effect.  I was learning at the time
(like all the technologies involved) so I was just happy to get it
working.

And yes, I do like my "knockout" picture, I was definitely shooting
for "whats the least likely hobby for a programmer" when I picked
mixed martial arts.  A friend of mine at my old mixed martial arts
school is a stunt photographer.  We did that photo together after one
of our weekend sparring sessions.  Pretty cool stuff, it (and he) were
actually on the "Today" show.
