Ok, I have had similar issues with this before but I had to move away from that project. However, now I am getting into some modeling and animation for a new one and it's come up again!
The UV placement in Prefab (and thus Away3D) do not correctly represent on the model. See the following images: UVs and texture on the model are not the same - http://i737.photobucket.com/albums/xx11/mrmmaclean/random/UVsWTF.png Same OBJ in Maya to show correctly - http://i737.photobucket.com/albums/xx11/mrmmaclean/random/UVsWTFb.png It is quite obvious by the Prefab screenshot that the texture is not displayed as the Prefab UV Editor indicates. I have tried a number of file types with the same results. Clearly something is up with how Away3D renders the texture space. Any insight to why this is? Thanks! -Micheal
