Hi all, I recently changed to awesome 3 from awesome 2 and wondered whether there was a freedesktop.org-compliant applications menu available, but couldn't find anything on the awesome wiki or the web about it.
I decided to try it out, and it seems I got something that works: http://github.com/terceiro/awesome-freedesktop/tree There's a screenshot here: http://wiki.github.com/terceiro/awesome-freedesktop I've just realized that maybe the wording on my quick and dirty README may be misleading (since awesome actually already implements several freedesktop.org specs). I'm not sure what would be the better way to integrate it into awesome itself, or even if there would be interest on doing that. I'd appreciate any comments. -- Antonio Terceiro <[email protected]> http://people.softwarelivre.org/~terceiro/ GnuPG ID: 0F9CB28F
