I agree with, you are reaching something very good. Thanks for your patch. The desktop icons look a lot nicer now. :) I added some changes on top of it, though: * removed trailing whitespace * removed the vim modelines [0] * updated usage example in README to reflect new API. 0. try http://www.vim.org/scripts/script.php?script_id=1171. If you use Debian or some derivative, vim-scripts already includes it.
