seems good to me. A nice dev option.

the socks server here is stopping me from seeing cvs.apache.org yet, and
although I have been a committer for a week, I havent pushed anything out
yet.

If nobody vetoes it and you see no action from me, remind me next week.

Speaking of crufty, unmaintained code, Costin, what is up with the jasper
command line stuff right now?
