:-) I assume you want to precompile JSPs ? I would recommend using the ant tasks ( recently updated and fixed ). I hope the CLI will be removed sooner or later ( because it's pretty ugly and using ant is much cleaner). Remy is also working on removing the ( crufty ? ) javac support code, and replace it with calls to ant's javac. If you have patches or are interested in maintainig that area - please join tomcat-dev.
