Hi Lisa, (You're copying random messages from previous posts into your emails. You might just want to click your Compose Mail button and type in [email protected] and start typing to avoid your ISP/email client from copying previous posts.)
Passports out of the Azores (to anywhere) are on the CCA web site. Right now, only from the port of Ponta Delgada on Sao Miguel are online. Use Internet Explorer to view: http://pg.azores.gov.pt/drac/cca/ig/passaportes/default.aspx?divisao=3 Mel may have some extracted and put on her Portuguese-Hawaiian web site: www.islandroutes.com Bob de Mello paid someone years ago to extract only the Hawaiian (or Sandwich Islands) bound passengers and he put it in a book. The book is out of print, but you can order the fiche from your Family History Center and view it and copy the pages that way. There is also the Knowlton book too, done after Bob de Mello's book. I'm not sure where to obtain the Knowlton book. Mel and IslandRoutes are your best sources for Portuguese Hawaiian research.
