I figure if people take wrong information from my trees they are the ones with
a problem. They are not changing my tree in any way by doing it. Ancestry has
helped me contact a family member from my portuguese side which gave me copies
of pictures I never would have had. I was finally able to put faces to my great
great grandparents and most of their children. I feel no system is perfect so
you just need to make it work for you as best you can.
