Thanks, Gayle, you are correct. I approached this as a vacation with the plus of doing some research. I can see from the comments that it is best to be prepared before we go so that we can fully benefit from what is there. We are having difficulty deciding on the second Island still. Maybe if I start family history here, it will point us to the Island we should visit after Terceira.
