I found Manuel Garcia Dias on a ship list coming from Faial to Massachucetts 1909. It had fathers name, Victorino Dias Furtado. I took this to the NEPS site for Faial and hunted around a while to find him in Feteiria. That gave me the Praia do Almoxarife birthplace. So here is what appears to be the family tree going back four more generations from the great grandfather.
