Was the info from the EllisIsland.org site? I also went crazy on the NEPS site recently ... tried a lot of name combinations.... but obviously YOU have the magic touch my friend. I saw the name Vitorino and it reminded me of my fathers middle name Victor. Tell me Eric.. where are you from and a little about your ancestors... por favor. I live in El Salvador now in the coffee mountains overlooking the Pacific. We just finished our annual party for all of the employees of our community with their children. 100 plus, the are so genuine and grateful. My heart has always been open to all peoples and now I find I have a new mission. I am enamored by finding out WHY for my whole life I have love the sea, Islands, volcanoes and believe it or not earthquakes! ... I took this to the NEPS site for Faial and hunted around a while to find him in Feteiria. That gave me the Praia do Almoxarife birthplace.
