Eric, I was sixteen when he died, that was 1964 I believe those records to be correct, the last time I saw him he had passed away and was still in the hospital bed. That time of my life was a very sad time, I lost my father in 1961, he capsized a small boat at Bodega Bay north of San Francisco, he drown with 3 other men. I congratulate anyone whose father and or grandfather lived to be the cornerstone of their lives. I , for one, had to create my own cornerstone from granite!!! Enough...
Thanks again for all of you help Greg From: eric edgar Sent: Saturday, February 11, 2012 10:44 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: Re: [AZORES-Genealogy] Grandfathers Birth Place Greg, I've seen this family on the 1930 and 1920 censuses. On the 30 it shows the grandaughters. I've also seen them in Oakland city directories. Your grandfather was a cement worker. In the nrxt few days I'll put together some stuff to drnd you. Can you confirm he's the Manuel Dias that died in 1964?
