I did find one son buried in the Half Moon Bay Cemetery, Antonio S. Quilla. His mother (Wife of Joao Souza Quilla) was living with her other son (Manuel Quilla) in Salinas when she died. The father (Joao Souza Quilla) was not listed in the 1910 census records as being in Salinas. So baring a divorce he must have died before 1910. I was lucky to find a Quilla relative that I had never met, online. Her husband is not in my direct line but has a book on the family history that was done by his aunt who has passed on. The book had a print out from 1994 from the LDS. It stated that Joao Souza Quilla was buried in Half Moon Bay. So i really don't know how she knew this. The print out could have been information she collected and shared with the LDS. The search goes on!
