This is good to bring up, I never thought about it. I am to blame for abbreviating one place and it is SM, Vila Franca do Campo, Sao Miguel, Azores. I usually put the church name and everything in in the birth field. I use Familytree. Now that is mainly for my benefit. I am sure there is a way to add the Church to the basic information showing up on the main page, but I haven't even looked.
