Apparently, you're looking too hard in all the wrong places. If Maria dos Anjos lived in Candelaria, and you're looking forvher baptism, perhaps you should be researching the church that serves that area. While Candelaria is in the Concelho de Ponta Delgada, it isn't in downtown Ponta Delgada. A better choice would probably be Nossa Senhora das Candeias, located right in Candelaria. If that doesn't work, you might try a church in a nearby bordering village.
