Dan P,

The lists may work for other researchers. At the time we published his
list, I think we said his sources. I think they were a couple of villages
on Terceira, Sao Miguel, and maybe Flores. I don't remember.

Some of the typos may be mine and some may be his. I had to retype it for
display purposes for the Azores GenWeb. I had a hard copy of his lists.
And who knows, maybe there are some priests and scribes who couldn't spell
and that's why Mr. Ramos put it that way.

Since most of the stuff produced on the Azores GenWeb is produced by either
Kathy or me, we just do the best we can. I don't see anyone else stepping
up to the plate contributing information. And there is no one to proof my
work. So I just do the best that I can to help researchers.

Like Eliseu said, start a list and add your own. I offered the one on the
Azores GenWeb for those who are new as they don't have anything to start
with. They can print it out, add names from Eliseu's list and also add
their own.
