*Are you certain of his year of birth? If this person was a member of the Church of England he would have been baptized in the Church of England. S. Miguel has an Anglican church (St. George's), in Ponta Delgada, w/ records dating from 1827 to 1955. It's records were microfilmed by LDS. Family Search.org has those films - if you haven't already checked it out, it could be worth the effort. *
