p.s. Margaret, I also notice that Antonio is from S. Jorge on both Manuel's baptismal and marriage record, leading me to believe they're at least a match for one another, if not necessarily for Francisco's grandfather (who isn't listed next to his "single" grandmother on his baptismal record). Does anyone know how common intermarriage between the islands was?
