Cherie, Creatura does not have the same connotation as ‘creature’ does in Eng. It is old form of writing and it is a word used in every day language up to today, not just in records. Creature from the Latin; synonymous to “infant, just born” others are ‘living soul’, person, individual, etc.
They used the term when a baby didn’t get baptized and had no name, they would write ‘creature/infant/just born’.
