No - that's very Web 1.0. The Web 2.0 way of doing things is to stay
at home, meet them on MySpace, then add them on Facebook.

Or you could find interesting events on last.fm / upcoming, add the
interesting people who are going, and actually go meet em, then add
them on myspazz and facebook :) and ... and..
