The Baha'i Studies Listserv
Muslims usually begin their meals by pronouncing the bismillah (In the
name of God the Merciful, the Compassionate.) and my understanding is
that Persian Baha'is do something similar saying "In the name of God
the Most Glorious." But I have seen Baha'i prayers that were intended
to be said before meals, so I don't know what to make of the letter
written on behalf of the Guardian.
