Prayers of the Prophet Muhammad for the End of the Meal
 
Alhamdulillah alladhi at'amna wa sakana

All praise is due to Allah, Who has given us to eat and to drink

Hadith 

Alhamdulillah! Kathiran taiyiban mubarakan fihi, ghaira makfiy'
Wala' muwada, wala mustaghna 'anhu Rabbana.
Praise be to Allah! Much good and blessed praise!
Lord, we cannot repay your favor,
nor can we escape it, nor can we do without it 
Hadith 
   
Alhamdulillah, alladhi huwa ashba'ana wa arwa'na
wa an'ama 'alai'na wa afdzala
Praise be to Allah!
Who has satisfied our hunger and our thirst
And Who has granted us His favors and given to us abundantly
O God, for Thee I have fasted

Praise be to Allah, who has made the provisions of our livelihood more 
plentiful than our needs.
Suhrawardi 

Allah, Allah, Except Allah
This has gone; may a richer one come.
May the Divine Reality give blessings.
Let there be light for those who have eaten.
May those who have truly attained be the helpers of the poor dervish who cooked 
and kept the meal, and may they be our helper.
May our rations from the door of happiness of our lords, the Twelve Imams, the 
Fourteen Pure Innocents, be rich.
Let us say Hu for the reign, the rotation of the Light of the Prophet,
the Grace of Ali,
our Patron Saint Haji Bektash Veli, all the Patron Saints,
and the generous ones, those who have truly attained, Hu.....

I would not describe the bismillah as a grace. Shoghi Effendi seems to
be objecting specifically to grace at it is performed in Christianity,
though how that differs from 'Abdu'l-Baha's prayers is not clear to
me.


On some hot-button
> issues, some Bahais treat them as over-ruling anything else.

I think it would be more accurate to say that there are a handful of
Baha'is who want to ignore them entirely when it comes to certain
hot-button issues, despite the fact that the bulk of Shoghi Effendi's
authoritative interpretations are contained in this body of
literature.
