Susan jan, But that's not what the 1932 letter stated. It said nothing about monthly debt to income ratio or anything that you'd recognize from the introductory Finance 101 course.
My point is that a general statement like the one in 1932 statement should be taken with a grain of salt as the society has changed considerably. People back in 1930's were not so heavily loaded with debts as we're in 2003. The whole economic profile has changed, and has changed dramatically. yrs, ahang. I take it to mean that we make our loan payments before such contributions. In the US we all have debts but we usually pay them off. warmest, Susan ---------- You are subscribed to Baha'i Studies as: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe send a blank email to mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Baha'i Studies is available through the following: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] http://list.jccc.net/cgi-bin/lyris.pl?enter=bahai-st news://list.jccc.net/bahai-st http://www.escribe.com/religion/bahaist (public) http://www.mail-archive.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED] (public) This communication is for use by the intended recipient and contains information that may be privileged, confidential or copyrighted under applicable law.
