Dear friends, One silly question.
How does one know that the R & R unit of my P150 Vintage ES is fine? I am thinking of checking the voltage that it is giving out to the battery after disconnecting it and starting the bike. Will this be the correct way of doing so? What is the voltage that should be coming out of the RR? ..........after junking my old battery thinking that it was a gonner, and replacing it with an Amaron Sealed maintenance Free 9AH battery 3 days back, I am wondering if I sold off my battery for no reason! This is in case the RR is defective. The new battery has discharged, so I am suspecting the RR. Should one only suspect the RR or should one suspect the coil(s) of the alternator too? Ciao // Rajeev.
