Thanks Arpan and Hrishi ! OK. Just checked it. It is giving just 1 volt DC at the terminals that charge the battery. The battery itself is giving 11 volts (gotten discharged over the 3-4 days of use without the recharging).
Now the other thing is. should one go and simply buy a new R&R unit or also get the concerned coil of the alternator checked? How much should the RR cost? Thanks for all the help! Ciao // Rajeev.
