I must thank you so far for the warm welcome. I can understand about the
paper work. It seems one of the King's forest must be felled in order to
get anything done. In the next month I should be a fellow Musketeer and you
will be one of my commanding officers I would hope that you will take to
calling me Defenseur.
To celebrate My good fortune I will be holding a ball at Fleur de Lys. I
think it is high time that I meet the gentleman and ladies of Paris. Plus
with being elevated to Duc and being appointed as his Majesty's Minister
without Portfolio. That's not even including my other great fortunes of
becoming a King's Musketeer and having such a lovely lady at my side. I do
hope that you and the rest on King's Musketeers are able to come. I plan on
inviting His Majesty the King, Crown Prince Fred, and of course Cardinal
Ximinez. Also other notable gentlemen of Paris.
