Captain,
Very well. Next time please keep me informed so that I can make sure that
the regiment is up to full strength to be able to properly defend the King
and to go whereever and whenever our Colonel says to go. Consider this a
first experience in command, and I suspect given your experience in
government matters this lapse won't happen again. As it is, alternate
arrangements need to be made to make room for an excellent Captain who
wishes to join the King's Musketeers effectively last month. Therefore,
will you and the Major please have recommendations on the preparedness of
your battalion and company's fighting strength on my desk by the end of the
second week of this month.
