Since this appears to be an issue between two gentlemen, I shall of course
allow you to take it up with the party who laid these allegiations at your
feet. Let me be the first to tell you, that Duc von Ferson can be extremely
persuasive with steel.
Nonetheless, I shall make my recommendations to the Colonel as it is his
final say that shall determine whom serves His Majesty as a King's
Musketeer.

P.S. I shall keep in mind your gathering. However, I have some unfinished
business with Major Zilvain of the CG and so I must take advantage of all
opportunity to show up at the same places as the Major. I'm sure you'll
