Lt. Colonel Henri du Bois,
Thank you for a very prompt and effective response to my request. I
am sure that the commanders you have contacted will act promptly on the
matter of the appointments you have brought to their attention. The matter
of the Third Foot Brigadier is somewhat more complex. I believe that there
are significant limits on what brigades a Brevet Brigadier General may
command. I will need to confirm this with headquarters, but if this is so
we may need to ask the Inspector General of the Infantry to appoint one of
the lesser known [OOC: NPC] Brigadier Generals available to that post.
Yours,
Lt. General Soire de Success, OC 1st Division
[OOC: I recall that for a BBG to get a Brigade command position it must be
the brigade his regiment is in? A full Brigadier General is under no such
limitation. Does anyone know differently?]
