[David] Thanks Deb !

It's a really nice piece of work, I too really like the choice of colors,
the idea of broken boxes, and the fonts are very good I think.

I second the feedback of Xavier and he already mentioned most of the stuff.
I'll just add a few of my own nitpicking :

. [home page] I like the way you link the titles Participate and The
studio to their text and links, and I think it does not work as well for the
Play in terms of readability. With the text in the upper left and the 'Play
the game !' very big and more in the center, I don't relate these 2 elements
together as well as I can relate Participate and its text, and Studio and
its text.
We could maybe have a 'Game' title, then the attached text, then two links,
one [Learn more] (as it is currently), and one big link 'Play the game' that
would be more connected than currently to the corresponding title/text. Does
it make sense ?
In other words, I really like the sense of not organizing things in little
boxes (like the current wiki) J, that your design provides, but I still need
to sense the three different main zones of the page,
play/studio/participate; I can feel these zone for participate/studio but
not completely for the play zone.

. [home page] And also, bit it's just a feeling, I'm not so sure
it's a good idea to lose one third of the page in the middle of the page
(the background picture) with no content. I mean I like the background
picture along with the broken blue boxes, but I wonder if it would not be
possible to reorganize a little bit things, and have the picture take less
space at least in the center, so that we enhance more the content of the
three main content zones

. Partly related to this first point, the fact of very clearly
differentiating the links from the rest of the text, mentioned by Xav, is
very important imho.

. [home page] If you remove the list of topics in the upper right as
mentioned by Xav, I think that because you'll have only the three big blocs
(play/participate/studio) along with the complementary elements (quick
links, follow us, etc), it will be easier to display the information.

. One last thing, it will be interesting, once you review the AD of
the game itself, to create some correspondences between the game and the
wiki; we could already start to look for references that we could use both
for the game and wiki AD ? For instance, if on the game we go for something
that would stand between 'real life' (sims like) and sci-fi (for instance
http://www.2advanced.com/), then it could be interesting to already think
how these elements could impact some visuals of the wiki.

Thx J

D
