Especially on the fact that there are too many elements that jump to the eye at first sight, I agree that if quick links/follow up are merged and put in some corner and project/company/references bow is reduced and looks more like tabs and less like a box, then you only have three boxes to focus on, play/studio/contribute, so you can creat more space between them so that it looks less crowded.
