by better Imax, I assume we are referring to theatres that were built
exclusively for IMAX presentations and not retrofitted metroplex theatres. IMAX
refers to them as classic IMAX.

The only other classic IMAX theatre I know of is in Dublin at Hacienda Crossing
which is no closer for you, is it?

I am hoping to catch Avatar again in the IMAX 'lite' version at EmeryBay in the
next week, and can offer a comparison between classic and lite soon. And if I
get really wild and crazy, I'll even see the Digital 3D version.

The IMAX theatre near Chris is the AMC Mercado, and that is a retrofitted
theatre (IMAX), on Mission College Blvd just around the corner, sort of, from
the IHOP where BASFA was held a couple of times. Avatar is showing there in
IMAX 3D.

hope that helps,

linda
