Huh.  I've used BBEdit for many years (since v3, I think), and while I
don't think I've ever read the license, I still knew about the
restriction.  I think the restriction is perfectly fair.  And at least
you only get nagged: some pieces of software won't allow you to use
the copy you've just fired up if there's one already running somewhere
else.

I think the analogy to the car is faulty.  A more apt one would be
where one goes to buy two new cars, gets them home, and then sits in
the driveway crying because the salesperson didn't tell him that he
couldn't drive both of them at the same time.  And, of course, that
analogy is also flawed, but I think is closer to the actual issue at
hand.  Especially since one can drive both "cars" at once, and can
even do so without the annoyance if the problem is thought about for a
bit.

This really does read like outrage in search of an actual issue.  And
if that makes me a 'fanboy', then I suppose I am.

And 'sleazy' is not an insult?  Cool.  Evan, you are the sleaziest
person I know.  Kudos!
