I've got a Powerbook and a MacMini both running osX 10.4.6 + BBE 8.2.5 with filesharing turned on both macs and logged into one from the other. And, I can open and use BBEdit on both macs simultaneously without this quit prompt appearing. Umm, maybe an appletalk issue (mines off)?
I was running a laptop, and a desk top, the former had an old rev of BBE, and the lap top, because it was going to be expensed back to the company, got the new rev of BBE. But when i did an ssh to the laptop, I would accidentally launch bbedit at the command window, and it would dutifully open on the other machine...
So how exactly are you doing this with 'logged into one from the other' so that you can use it on both?
In my current config I have them both connected to a USB-KVM so I can use both windows...
