I found this page http://www.newlisp.org/index.cgi?page=Downloads on getting newLISP, but it wants 10.4 or needs extra bits. I'm on 10.3 so I thought I'd put my energy into perl first. By the time I get that into my head, I may have upgraded the OS. Maybe helpful if you're already on Tiger though... Thanks for the rundown on the other languages.
