An ugly, inefficient work-around might be to alter your BBEdit
universal binary to remove the Intel version - this would cause
BBEdit to run under Rosetta and thus run the Ruby plugin under
Rosetta as well.
I'm still on an old PB G4, so I can't test that that actually works,
but it might be worth a shot.
