seems as though ever since I updated to the latest version I no
longer have Ruby as a language in BBEdit's preferences. I
reinstalled the Ruby language module (Ruby is still not
native???) and when I restart I still can't see any Ruby syntax
highlighting when I open a file.
The ruby syntax coloring works for me (running 8.2.6 off the disk
image - have active work open in 8.2.5).
Did you check the Language setting under the window's Text Options?
That's just it - Ruby doesn't appear as a language.
I have installed the Ruby plugin under
~/Library/Application Support/BBEdit/Language Modules/Ruby
No matter how many times I restart BBEdit, Ruby never appears as a
language.
Is there any way to downgrade to version 8.2.5? I can't find the
8.2.5 installer on the site.
thanks,
