Sorta yes, sorta no. I'm a frequent flyer with the Services menu item "New Window with Selection." Of course this would require that the app that contains your source text support Services (Firefox, for instance, does not). I'm pretty keyboard oriented in just about everything I do, but this is one of the few functions for which I will readily pick up the . . . you know . . . that thing, sits next to your keyboard, with the wire and the two buttons and the little wheel in the middle . . . oh, well. It'll come to me later. This saves me at least four keystrokes (Cmd-C, one or more Cmd-Tabs to get back to BBEdit, Cmd-N, Cmd-V). -- B.
