Yes, of course, HTML files are text files. Nevertheless, it should carry

a BBEdit icon text file. How can I correct this?

So, you want Safari to open HTML files when you double-click on them
instead of BBEdit? If so, right-click the file, get info, change app
to load to Safari, change all, voila. All files ending in HTML will
now be owned by Safari instead of BBEdit.

If you want the files to open in BBEdit when you double-click them,
then you will need to have the BBEdit text file icon on the files.

No. I don't want Safari to open files instead of BBEdit. I want what I wrote.
