I had an issue using ChronoSync where it didn't correctly delete files, but rather recreated them in the location they were deleted from. I stopped using it for this reason. Do you think I just had it set up wrong? I'd happily go back and give it another go as I paid of it!

FWIW, I semi-regularly use ChronoSync to normalize my BBEdit prefs and
support files (plus those for a few other apps) between machines.

The main issue to keep in mind when syncing prefs is that the use of
different paths or naming conventions on each machine may throw some things off (e.g. hard-coded paths in scripts, or if your web site folders reside
in different places).
