Hi Omi, So far I know that Dekko is using 802.11x products which is also free and legal band in Bangladesh. I have seen their products as well and the technology they are using. So I'm also curious about the fact you have said. The most interesting part is- this is maybe the first time I have heard that BTRC asked some ISP to shutdown their service due to using the illegal frequency as you might be noticed that Motorola Canopy's 5.2GHz band Access point is the mostly used Access point in the Dhaka city by the vital number of ISP's and only few of them has got the license for it. Now a days Motorola 5.2GHz point to point and 5.4Ghz Access points are introduced in Dhaka as well which BTRC don't even think about. You all might be surprised to hear that some ISP's are running 4/5 base stations in Dhaka with only 3.5Mhz channel of 3.5GHz licenced frequency band. So if it is true what you have said then it will be some interesting showdown by BTRC in coming days.
