Well,
The guy who informed me about this told me that Dekko hacked the
technical part, which was producing illegal frequency and that is the
reason they are offline today. I don't want to get into deep, but myself
wanted to use radio link through a 802.11x PCI WiFi card and a external
8.5db omni direction antenna (which I set outdoor). That didn't work
from 900 meter distance. But Dekko's solution was working all over
Dhaka. May be they could do something else. We should not discuss the
things, we don't know. :)
If they are suffering technical problem, they'll sort it out and will be
live again. BTRC is a funny place to be. But I think the Motorola 5.2/4
importers took some paper work (TAKA notes are made of paper, mind it)
before import/marketing them. Possibly that is why people are using the
frequency. Who knows the fact!!! Even if anyone knows, they won't share
it with us. If BTRC wants to shut anyone down, they can do some
paperworks and keep them alive. If what I was informed about Dekko is
true, they can even do the paperwork and... :) :)
