This comment above has raised something that I have been considering
putting to the list for a while
There used to be an electronic device you could buy to put in the roof or a
lot of farmers got them to keep rats and mice out of their combine harvester
(header to us aussies). It worked by putting out a continuous high frequency
(I think ) transmission and was very effective. My mother lived with one of
these things in the kitchen ceiling for several years before she was
eventually diagnosed with terminal brain cancer, and I have always blamed
that, at least partly for her death. (my father has survived lung cancer and
prostrate cancer since) I know in circumstances like this we always look
for somewhere to place the blame but it would be very interesting to know if
there are others out there with similar stories to tell.
