Anyone have experience using essential oils in dilution for insect repellant on crops? I'm wondering if a few drops of peppermint will go a long way.
Also, I tried the two day old nettle tea on some flats of squash that were getting ravished by cucumber beetles. As soon as the mist approached the flats, cucumber beetles and squash beetles flew away. I mean flew, which squash bugs just don't do. Unfortunately, they were back the next day and there has been no time to spritz again..
