One problem I foresee with 
NetPointer's approach (not his fault though) is that you will have some 
work on the front-end side to match the user's (more in the case of a new user, 
also if an existing user wants to go for a change of preference order) 
preference order with that of existing preference order styles and then decide 
if a new style needs to be created or not. With the approach I suggested first, 
it should be a real easy task. There might be efficient ways though 
to handle NetPointer's approach on the front-end side 
...

                Sachin,
                We both had thought on the same lines.I just wanted someone 
                to vote our approach.I'll stick on to this approach till experts 
                get back on this.Since we cannot force any two users to have the 
                same preference order I think I cannot go with NetPointers 
                approach as of now, but his approach is also a good one , I will 
                keep in mind NetPointer's approach for any kind of optimizations 
                later.Sachin thanks for your reply.Lets look forward for more 
                comments from our SQL Server experts.
