Excellent suggestion. There probably are tools there to solve his problem, or at least major parts of it, The process he is referring to, is pretty essemtial to a lot of what is going on in that field. Oznur should definitely check out the resources at http://bio.perl.org/ to see what tools are already available for his purposes.
