We use Desktop Manager and use the 'Device Switch Wizard', then we go to 'Backup and Restore', select Advance and delete from the new device all the contacts, calender and task, then do a BES reactivation. Then wipe the old device and give it out to another user.

I would like to be able to hand the VP a new BOLD with some of their old setup intact – like having their password carry over and any BIS setup carryover to the new BOLD from old 8800. Is it possible? I think I’d have to use the first option I stated below for this to happen for the BOLD. For the 8800, a new user would be activated. So, I get the fact I wouldn’t have to wipe it – an activation would take care of it.
