First, a question: How do I (easily, I hope) change the font size in the
browser window -- without, of course, resorting to changing the
browser's own magnification/zoom factor?

In J6, this was easy and obvious -- the same sort of way as with
changing configs of most programs: From the Edit menu item, select
Configure. Then use a completely intuitive GUI dialog to change things.

Second, some comments: Restricting things to a browser interface alone
is the wrong way to go -- driven more, I fear, by the desire to minimize
development effort than out of any actual improvement in the user
interface.

I find everything harder to do with the J701 browser front end than with
the J6 (and earlier) j.exe GUI.

And I've tried working with 701, even in the earlier pre-beta "concept"
version, and find it quite obvious that it is NOT mere novelty or
unfamiliarity with the new interface. Indeed, I use many different kinds
of programs on a daily basis, and nothing so far even approaches the
clumsiness of J701's interface.

Unless there are dramatic improvements in usability, I am very likely to
give up J entirely. And as a user of J from its beginning, and of APL
before that, that is something I would not do lightly or happily.
