As I mentioned in a previous message in this thread, getting GTK running under 
Windows using the new j701abeta download isn't trivial and I wouldn't recommend 
it ATM. 

If you are on Linux (which has GTK binaries already) then it seems to be pretty 
easy (see my earlier post).

There haven't been any versions of the gui/gtk or ide/gui released since June 
so the download from the wiki page is probably still the best option if you 
want to try the GTK front end.
